The Benefits of Quittingquit smoking

The good news is that it's never too late to stop smoking. Did you know that by stopping smoking now, your chance of having heart attack would be dramatically reduced in only six months? Quitting also decreases your risk of stroke, lung cancers as well as other cancers and respiratory diseases. You are never too old to quit.

Our Program

Anyone who has tried to quit knows that eliminating a smoking habit isn't simple. Kick Butt! helps you address your obstacles:

  • Nicotine addiction
  • Breaking and changing habits
  • Resisting cravings
  • Identifying smoking triggers
  • Managing stress
  • Avoiding weight gain when quitting

Kick Butt! Combines several strategies to support smokers to quit and to help prevent relapse later. The program includes:

  • A personal consultation with a health coach who specializes in smoking cessation (includes an assessment for nicotine replacement or non-nicotine medications).
  • Three "one-on-one" sessions with a health coach for:
    • Realistic short and long term goal setting
    • An individualized plan for achieving your goals
    • One-on-one mentoring
    • Support, motivation, re-evaluation and revision of your individual plan
